David Letterman issued a statement through his spokesman, Tom Kenny, and after a court appearance today by Robert Halderman, who pleaded guilty in an attempt to blackmail Mr. Letterman and was sentenced to six months in prison.

Staff members of Mr. Letterman, “Late Show” comedian said he is unlikely to address this issue in his program Tuesday night, and instead intends to allow the statement to have a reaction only on the court.

Morgenthau, and the Office of the Prosecutor General’s Office in dinars, and New York City Police Department.
