Runaway Prius : New York (TheStreet) – Toyota announced Tuesday that it plans to issue a recall of the models from 2004 to 2009 Prius [2004-2005 Toyota Prius in the picture above), in the wake of runaway Toyota Prius incident, which happened on Monday.
I recall the Toyota Prius, which are being made to address the problems of unintended acceleration, according to The Wall Street Journal.
On Monday, a Toyota sped out of control in 94 miles on highways in San Diego by patrol officers helped the driver to bring the car back down to 50 miles per hour. The driver was driving a Prius, 2008.
Toyota has already recalled about 8.5 million vehicles in the world over the acceleration, unintended sudden, as well as problems braking.
